What happens at a hearing evaluation?
Your Doctor of Audiology will ask about your hearing and medical history, examine your ears, and assess your hearing and understanding of speech. You will discuss your listening needs and review the results together.
What should I bring?
Bring a list of your current medications and your insurance information. Call ahead to confirm which forms you need to complete.
Can someone come with me?
You can bring a companion. During your evaluation, they can help describe the everyday listening situations that are difficult for you.
How can I check the cost and my insurance benefits?
Ask our team about the cost of the visit or hearing aids you are considering and what is included. Check with your insurer about your plan’s hearing benefits and any costs you would pay.
